Case No. 6262585 - Shoplyfter - Teamskeet

On October 11th, a little after 3:00 PM, Laneige Lingonberry reported to the Loss Prevention Officer (LP Officer) of a stolen phone. The phone had been swiped from Lingonberry's possession while she was shopping at the store. The LP Officer immediately reviewed the CCTV footage and identified a suspect. Upon further investigation, the suspect was found and apprehended.

During the interview, the suspect admitted to being a habitual thief but denied stealing Lingonberry's phone. The phone was then called, and much to everyone's surprise, it was found ringing in the LP office. This evidence was enough to establish that the suspect had been lying.

The suspect was taught an important lesson about the consequences of stealing. The LP Officer handled the incident locally, ensuring that the perpetrator faced the appropriate consequences without involving law enforcement. The lost phone was returned to its rightful owner, and the evidence was logged on October 11th, 2017.
